Despite seeing some of the worst fighting during war battles, it’s imperial charm has never faded, and the town is now becoming regenerated once again due to increased tourism.
13. Hoi An
No visit to Vietnam would be complete without a visit to Hoi An – Vietnam’s most prized town.
This old trading port is regarded as one of the most beautiful, and fascinating places in all of Southeast Asia, comprising quaint walking streets festooned with red Chinese lanterns, rustic French terraces and ornate Japanese bridges, dotted with traditional temples, independent tailors and boutique restaurants.

14. Ho Chi Minh City
In no other cities in the world can one see such stark contrast yet harmonious blend between tradition and modernity such as Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).
Once a dominantly swamp land, Ho Chi Minh City has grown into the largest metropolitan area of Vietnam and generally known as the economic center of the country.

15. Halong Bay
Being one of the most popular destination to visit in the northern of Vietnam is definitely HALONG BAY.
This beautiful natural wonder is surrounded by clear emerald water, consists of scattered limestone islands and stunning caves which have emerged as a result from the sea erosion.
Besides, the area has a rich biodiversity from many rare species to tropical forests sheltering many flora and fauna.

16. Ha Giang
Ha Giang is one of Vietnam’s northernmost provinces, sharing a long border with China.
It’s famed for its verdant limestone and granite mountains, sleepy tribal villages and exhilarating motorbike loop.
Whilst tourism in the rest of Vietnam has seen a marked increase in the last two decades, Ha Giang has been left relatively untouched, and as such is one of the last remaining glimpses of traditional ethic life in Vietnam.
